Mining is one of those fields where the real learning happens underground or on the bench, while the exams, the rules and the textbooks live somewhere else entirely. If you have ever tried to connect the two on your own, you know how frustrating it can be.

Indian Minerology was started to make that connection easier. It is a mining education blog and study hub for students, exam aspirants and working professionals, covering open cast and underground mining, mine safety, machinery, DGMS preparation and career guidance. Everything here is written to be clear, practical and useful the day you read it.

What is Indian Minerology?

Meet the founder

Deepak Kumar Joginath

B.Tech (Mining Engineering) | 8+ years in mine supervision

Deepak is a mining engineer who has spent more than eight years supervising mine operations. His experience covers underground and opencast mining, DGMS rules, safety management, ventilation, gas testing and statutory compliance.

He started Indian Minerology because he kept meeting students and young professionals who had the ambition but not a simple, practical source to learn from. The blog is his way of passing on what he has learned in the field, in a form that helps people pass their exams and work safely.

His goal is straightforward: simplify mining education, raise safety awareness and help you succeed in your exams and your career.
