Mine Legislation MCQs Part 2: Workmen's Inspector, Safety Committee & Ergonomics (Q85–Q135) || Indian Minerology

If you have already worked through the first set of mine legislation questions, this is the natural next step. Here the focus shifts from the Mines Act basics to the people and committees that make safety work on the ground: workmen's inspectors, safety committees, medical examinations and first aid. There is also a short section on ergonomics, fatigue and heat stress, which regularly appears in mining engineering papers.

This post has 51 MCQs (Q85 to Q135) with answers and short explanations. Attempt each question first, then tap Show Answer. The earlier questions (Q1 to Q84) are available under the Mining MCQs label.

Important note: These questions follow the older Mines Act, 1952, Mines Rules, 1955 and Coal Mines Regulations. The Mines Act, 1952 has since been subsumed into the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020, so always check the latest law for real compliance. For exam practice, the numbers here are still widely followed.
